COVINGTON, La. (WVUE) - A Madisonville man died Monday afternoon (Feb. 26) after being struck by a motorhome while walking on Interstate 12 in St. Tammany Parish, the Louisiana State Police said.
The victim was identified as 47-year-old David Brassieur.
State troopers did not explain why Brassieur was on the interstate on foot, but said he was “walking on the roadway on Interstate 12 westbound” near US Hwy. 190 when, for reasons still under investigation, he was hit shortly after 1 p.
