One person injured in Mountain Home shooting

MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (CBS2) — One person was shot in Mountain Home on Monday.

Mountain Home Police says officers were called to the 800 block of North 8th Street East for a report of a shooting. The victim was found in front of the house and taken to Boise for treatment where they're believed to be in stable condition.

The suspect, who was not identified, was located at the scene and detained. Police say there is no further threat to the public.

It's unclear what led to the shooting.
